Ok, so this page has only a couple of videos on it... the first one was done for a class and the mission was to do a podcast of ourself - about a hobby, an interest, a passion... and I chose Slam Poetry. It's pretty rough, the sunlight changes a bunch of times throughout it (I filmed myself outside in Queen Elizabeth Park in Vancouver), some of the clips I used aren't very good resolution, and there is a lot of wonkiness to the whole thing, but it's fun, and is a pretty good indication of where I am at with FinalCut (which I haven't been using since 2010)... There's tonnes of room for improvement, but it might give you a laugh, and it'll let you in on one of my passions!
This next video called "Stop Signs" after the poem by Shane Koyczan was done with Motion; the assignment was to take a sound clip and animate it with text. I love Shane's spoken word poetry, and thought this 30 second clip would be fun to use:
